The BrideBride Speech

In recent times, it has become increasingly common for the Bride to make a short speech of her own. There may be several reasons for this:

She may be speaking in place of her late father.

She may wish to support the Groom.

She may wish to express a few personal sentiments

Of all the speakers at the wedding, the Bride is undoubtedly in the most enviable position. After all, tradition does not require her to speak! In view of this, the Bride is often the most confident of all the speakers. That said, however, her speech must still be carefully prepared; it is one thing to be a confident speaker – it is another to have nothing to say. The secret of a successful speech is therefore to be clear as to its purpose.  As with all of the wedding speeches, there is no substitute for a little help and a lot of preparation!
